This is a beautiful 1997 Gibson Les Paul Custom. This has been mostly a case queen, played only occasionally in my home, never gigged. It is in almost mint condition. There is some very slight patina on the gold hardware, and I mean very slight. The frets are like new, no visible wear. There are 2 tiny indents the size of a pencil tip on the top. One near the treble knob and one where your forearm rests. I can’t even get them to show on the pictures. The top on this guitar is truly spectacular! And it plays and sounds incredible. I swore I would never sell this guitar but reality of kids going to college forces me to. The original hard case is in as beautiful condition as the guitar. Answering a few questions. The guitar is in fact a 1998. My serial number deciphering was a little off. The pickups are 490 and 498. The neck is 1.70 wide at the nut.
