Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. Serial number is 06185162. Pots are correctly dated for 1977. Just bought a Martin D-28, so one of my Les Paul’s must go. Though it’s finish is rough, nicked, scratched, and worn, the guitar has no damage to the body, neck, or headstock. Neck & body joint is solid, neck is straight. Guitar weighs almost nine pounds. Checking to the binding and finish. It’s been played a lot, but it plays excellent, with a great action and gritty sound. Frets and finger board are good. Looks like an early attempt at an Ace Frehly Budokan replica. The mods must be old, because I’ve had it quite a long time. I do have a white pick guard that goes with it, but I prefer to play without the pick guard. I bought this guitar with Schaller tuners on it, but I reinstalled the correct Gibson tuners. Not sure if the case is original, but it looks to be. Case is missing one latch. This is a bitchin’ vintage guitar, with much better soul than a new custom shop replica. Guitar weighs 9.6 pounds, nut width is 1.675-inches, neck is 0.875-inches thick at first fret.
