A little bit about this guitar. I bought it when I was 13 and have been the only owner. This guitar has been professionally used and maintained its entire life. I made a few modifications over the years. I replaced the original tuners with Schallers, since the originals just wouldn’t stay in tune. I replaced the original pickups with reissue PAFs. I modified the wiring after reading about Jimmy Page’s Les Pauls to add push-pull pots to the two tone nobs. Pull one and the pickups act as four single coils. Pull the other and they go out of phase. This guitar is a monster. It plays beautifully, it’s slowly been taking on that yellowing that all the vintage white Les Pauls get. The small blue marking on the pick guard reads “TehP” in memory of my former band mate who was killed in Madison a few years ago. It’ll take a second to remove. I play a half step down, so this guitar has always been strobe tuned and intonated for that. Should be no problem to reset to your needs. It’s been played at more shows than I can remember, so it’s got it’s small dings and marks, but nothing significant. If you are looking for an amazing guitar to play, this is it. This is NOT the original case, the original one was black with a fuzzy blue interior, it lasted about 15 years, but the miles finally caught up with it and I needed to replace it. The case it’s in now is a standard Gibson harder-shell case, about ten years old and of course it’s included.
