This is a 1974, 20th Anniversary Black Les Paul Custom Guitar with Ebony Fingerboard and Custom Gibson neck profile. The Serial number is 698854. The tuners are Kluson waffle backs, the frets have almost no wear and are the original “fretless wonder” type Gibson frets. The Bkack Beauty is a nice weight, about 9/10 lbs. The gold hardware is a bit faded from use and age, which gives a bit of charming character to this instrument. It sustains like crazy, has wonderful sounding t-tops, the neck has a slim profile to it, there is a Made in USA stamp, and there is a volute. There are small swirls on the back, as well as some lite worming in the finish. Overall it is in great condition. It is inlaid at the 15th fret, “20th Anniversary”.
