This is a nice little early to mid sixties Japanese made Guyatone model LG-70. It has a small solid body finished in a light sunburst with two metal scratchplates. There are two pickups with metal surrounds and each with a volume control, plus. Each has a rocker on/off switch and the third rocker switch is a tone switch. The bridge is a typical Guyatone bridge and the tailpiece is a very simple. The maple neck is bolted on and the fingerboard has twenty. Frets with block markers, but two dot markers at the twelth fret. Has the original complete tuners,”Guyatone” nameplate and string retainer. There are a few marks on the body and a little buckle rash but its a nice. Little player, and no so easy to find nowadays.
