Ibanez steve vai jem 777 Loch Ness green 1987. Double evolution pickups and the number must have faded and was rewritten, maybe Steve had someone else start doing the numbers and just did the art work and signature as maybe he was tiered of writing the numbers. Thats how it looked when I bought it in August 1994. Ive seen others where the number must brighter black. The guitar screams and very beautiful piece as you can see 3 sevens and of course everyone knows 777 is his numbers and some of the best art work I’ve seen and have seen many and never seen 3 clear Seven’s but never seen in the artwork on the other only 777 Steve Vai jems that were ever made in 1987 only!!!!!!!! And I’ve seen overall a hundred or so and this is my favorite I’ve seen and I was lucky enough to own it. This is a 1987 original. What more could you ask for!!!!!!!! You see the high priced 2nd run desert yellow and 3rd run hot pink ones right???? But 1000s and1000s were made in 88, Same Guitar But No Number OR signature. Lol, he’d be pretty tired having to sign that many lmao but The very first jems in existence where made in 1987 Loch Ness green in color and only 777 were ever made numbered and signed by Steve Vai and of course each unique piece of artwork on every single one of a 777 Loch Ness green gems that were ever made. This is a chance to own #249 a piece of history that would compliment any true guitar collector’s collection. I just happened to end up with this guitar as my sound man called me from a music store 25+ miles away and said you need to get down here right away I go why, he told me and I was there within 20 minutes with the cash. I own eight Ibanez 550, 560, and 570s and even though they’ve made the 30th Anniversary issue with no number or signature is not just better to own the real thing and I feel the Ibanez that the Japanese made in the 80’s to early 90s were the best. If you are interested and any of those or other guitars that I owned such as 80 Fender strat 5 or so Gibson Les pauls one being a historical SG shaped Les Paul 64 Corvette red historical 1988 reissue. I’ll be honest with you musicians. I just want to have 3 to 5 guitars that are exactly the same set to my specs. I played for over 31 years had been a pro player since 1981 but as you can see with my manic depression I bought many different kinds of guitars so I had to adapt to different kinds of necks, even played bass and switch to guitar in a band cause all 3 of us played both, I prefer Billy Sheehan as far as I like to play the bass. And think that I could become maybe even a better guitar player if I just have that perfect guitar if you know what I mean. Sorry for all the information but I just wanted you to get to know me a little bit better and to understand how valuable this guitar is as the price is fairly cheap for this practically extinct model and if held on to will be worth thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars in years the come!!!!! And let me know if you want any information about any of my guitars. Don’t be shy to ask because I have many many more that I didn’t write in this listing and if you’re interested let me know. By the way that’s me playing the guitar in 2011. Thanks so much and if you want to see me play guitar on the internet just go to YouTube and look up the ultimate poison tribute flesh and blood and I will be the Decked Out 80s guitar player play mostly a p v Eddie Van Halen Wolfgang, I have two of them a purple and a sunburst but also used the Jem. If you have any questions or would like to talk to me personally about anything or what i have for sale cassette tapes, cds, vhs, dvds, blueray, 19th Century up old and rare us in which I have many doubles or multiples of 1 awesome stamp Exedra, call 603 484 9302 David Matthew Forsythe and to all you string players out there and all the rest keep rocking and best of luck. Maybe if you’re close enough we could even jam out as I need to get back into playing. It’s been 5 years and all because of a broken heart so I’d like that to change and want somebody that have that Jem that will love it and cherish a real rare piece so I feel is still a part of me!!!!
