Typical of a vintage instrument, it has a slight tendency towards high action and a somewhat “plucky” feel. I don’t think there are any insurmountable issues. The pickups are likely original, but the assembly has undergone several repairs, so it’s probably not entirely original. The neck has a slight forward bow, and the truss rod seems to be functional. The string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.25mm for all strings (1-6). The body wood is likely Sen (Japanese Ash). It has a clearer tone than mahogany, and it cut through well in a band setting. The frets and nut have been replaced, and it has undergone a full cleaning and adjustment.
