This guitar is in very good condition and has light/average type of playwear. She has some light scratches, some small dings and indents but is overall very decent condition. Scroll down to see 45 HD images of this guitar. 100% original – no changed out parts. I’m pretty sure these are the current spec’s. A metal axe to be sure. Solid mahogany body with a maple top for excellent sustain. The neck is solid mahogany and features an ebony fingerboard with a sinister moon and star inlay at the 12th fret. Gibson 490R and 498T dish out heavy tone. Nashville Tuneomatic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece for dependable performance. The Grover Rotomatic tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is flat black satin matte and set off by black hardware. Body: Carved maple top, mahogany back. Neck/Profile: Mahogany, 1959 rounded Les Paul. Fingerboard/Inlay: Ebony, 22 frets, moon-and-star inlay at 12th fret. Scale/Nut Width: 24 3/4″ and 1 11/16″. Neck: 490R Alnico magnet humbucker. Bridge: 498T Alnico magnet humbucker. She had a fresh set up and plays beautifully. 8.6 lbs on a digital scale. All the electronics work well. The neck is straight and the frets are in very good condition. It has just been detailed. The front, back, sides and neck were waxed and buffed with a high grade carnuba wax. The frets were polished and the fingerboard was cleaned, buffed and moisturized with an instrument grade lemon oil. It was set up with 10/46’s, adjusted and plays very nicely. She has a medium neck profile and the frets are in very good condition. Comes with the original looking Gibson hardshell case and other stuff as seen in the pictures.
