GIBSON LES PAUL VOS 2013 1957 GOLDTOP REISSUE. This guitar plays great and has awesome tone! Has all the 2013 factory improvements including hot-hide glue neck joint, smaller more comfortable neck profile, better finish with accurate. Gold top color and rich brown back, more accurate cream colored binding, and vintage style steel truss rod with no plastic covering. This guitar comes with all original parts in the case, but installed are several upgrades and aftermarket items. The stock Gibson ABR-1 bridge has been replaced with Callaham steel abr-style bridge for superior sustain and tone. Also installed are Grover 18:1 ratio Rotomatic tuners which are much smoother and more accurate than the stock Klusons. The potentiometers are custom CTS 550k, 5% tolerance with smoother taper from 0 to 10 and no harsh volume spikes. 1950s Bumble Bee capacitors. 022uF in the bridge and. 015uF in the neck that sound amazing! Stock Custombucker pickups are very good and still installed on this guitar. Both measure in the low 7k range and have great sparkle and clean up well with just the volume controls. Again, all stock parts are also included. This guitar weighs 9 pounds even on my postal scale. I have obscured the last two digits of the serial number on the headstock to try and prevent somebody else trying to re use these pictures, but it is a 5-digit serial from 2013. I will provide the un-edited version upon request. Very minor play wear from honest use. I have played this guitar live on a few occasions, but it has been stored in a smoke-free home, and only has some minor buckle rash. Minor fretwear on second and third frets. Plays great with medium high blues rock action. Currently set up with DR Pure Blues. 010 gauge nickel strings. All case candy, certificate of authenticity, and extras included.
