I have a feeling someone is going to be very happy with this deal. Up for sale is a very rare Ibanez RG550 electric guitar. This guitar is called “The Serpent” and was made in Japan in 1991. The guitar is in good condition with normal playing wear for a 25 year old guitar. It is definitely NOT mint. There are light scratches and a few minor dings on the pick guard and body. There is some light playing wear on the back and sides of the neck but the frets are in good condition. There are three light surface cracks in the paint where the neck joins the body. There is a mark on the pick guard above the fret board. There is obvious wear on the neck plate. There is a ding on the headstock below the “e” in Ibanez. These are strictly cosmetic and have nothing to do with the absolutely solid structural integrity of the guitar. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions like it should. The guitar could definitely benefit from a new set of strings and a pro set-up. It comes with the original Ibanez Prestige Deluxe case but unfortunately two of the latches are broken. As you can see in the pictures, the plastic underneath the bottom latch has broken out. I think the pictures are pretty good and give a fairly accurate representation of the guitar if you look closely. Obviously if you are a serious Ibanez collector, you know exactly what this is. This is not only extremely collectable but also an excellent player. All of the stuff I sell is 100% guaranteed. If you don’t love it for ANY reason, just send it back, no problem.
