This Les Paul Standard sunburst from 1999 looks like an unplayed condition guitar. In the right lighting it has a symmetrical flame top appearance. It has been played but it shows no signs of wear or use. It does not feel like a particularly heavy Les Paul and without on a bathroom scale it is in the 9 lb to 10 lb range. This LP with custom bumble bees, like the 57 historic, is ready to go to any venue you can line up and perform beautifully. The strings that are like new with good low action. The capacitors were swapped out quality bumble bees. This guitar has been preserved since 1999. The neck is kind of fat and more like a 59 than a 60’s neck and no way a 57 gold top or 1957 custom fat neck. And no way should a 1990’s Les Paul Standard neck be confused with a slims 60’s neck like a Les Paul Classic from 1994 for example. The case combo lock had to be drilled. A handle rivet for the original Gibson case popped out which was rigged with a zip tie. The case handle works just fine.
