Here we have a really Nice–American Made –Fender American Special Telecaster. This was handpicked for me by a friend at sweetwater Music. Nice see thru grain on blonde alder body–nice color match with maple fingerboard and neck. Pro setup–Low action that plays like butter- no fret wear–and perfectly level– saddle screws are flush with the top of the brass saddles–no cut up right hands! Non beveled fender bakelite pickguard. John Galep hand scatterwound 5/2 Dawgtown pickups. Alnico 5 bass side magnets and alnico 2 treble side. Clear bass and non brittle treble–these pickups sound fantastic! 6 3/4lbs even and nicely balanced. Ive played and owned a bunch of these guitars and this one is a really good one. Its been played -1 tiny back edge chip near the jack–u can see it on the rear pic. Theres another rear edge ding on the upper back and a couple of buckle marks on the back.
