Never traveled with it. It is in virtually perfect condition–no marks or dents–though it still has its old strings on it and a little dust. The only remote physical flaw is that the small black knob for the pick-up switch fell off long ago. It was loose from the beginning, not the result of any trauma, but it has no effect on allowing the player to shift switch positions. IMPORTANT NOTE: When I bought this in early 1998, the American Deluxe series had not yet come out. I was unaware until just a couple of days ago that such a series came out only a few months after I bought this Telecaster I usually played with acoustics, so I did not keep up on electrics. That is why I added “Made in Mexico” to the description. This has the classic Telecaster body.
