1990 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Here is a genuine American made Gibson Les Paul Custom. The serial number dates it to February 1990. It has the PAF sticker pickups and the pots date to late 1989 and early 1990. The nut is 1.68″ wide, it measures 0.82″ thick at the 1st fret and 0.97 thick at the 12th fret. Actual weight is 10 lbs 9 oz. It has seen quite a bit of use, but the body is still in very good condition overall. There are small dings, scratches and a dull area up where your arm rests, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage used guitar. No cracks, modifications or structural issues. The neck is straight and the frets show average wear. It’s in excellent playing condition with no major issues. The fretboard is clean, but there is a hairline crack in the ebony from frets 13-16. I took it to my repair guy and he said the fretboard is solid and should not cause any problems in the future. The back of the neck has a few small impressions. The headstock has minor dings around the edges and a chip on the corner, but no cracks, repairs or extra holes. The hardware and electronics are original and in excellent working condition. The gold hardware has some wear and pitting, but nothing out of the ordinary. It comes with the original case which has some general wear on the outside. The locking latch is broken, but all of the other latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and the interior has no bad odors. Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is great as far as I’m concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenece to get it to your preferences.
