Short description: Definitely a well loved and played PRS, with a number of battle scars and wear. Had a professional refret at some point and plays very well (only reason Im aware of the refret is the original owner who I bought it from told me) The current frets show a small amount of wear all up the neck but they still have tons of life left as visible in the picture. It has different pickups, I believe theyre just nicer/newer PRS pickups. Alright so this guitar is pretty interesting, definitively one of the more played PRS Ive seen. Heres what I can remember about its history. It was originally owned by a pretty well known and respected guitar instructor whos written a few books and has a website dedicated to teaching guitar and music theory along with a somewhat well known YouTube channel. Dont ask who it is, because out of respect for him and his privacy I will not tell you lol. So basically he took the guitar somewhere and ended up getting it signed by Paul. Paul signed the backplate and the original owner kept it. I guess Paul noticed that this one had really been played and he appreciated that since so many PRSs spend their whole life in cases. So I believe he had the owner send it back to factory to have it updated/upgraded at his cost. I believe the tuners were swapped as well as the switch and possibly some of the other electronics as well, but the pickups definitely were. They may be dragons 2s or something like that? I dont know PRS Specs all that well but that sounds right, but honestly I dont know. Guitar was also refretted at that time I believe, but I dont believe the refret was done in the factory, but by some PRS authorized luthier/shop. I believe the original owner paid for the refret but everything else was covered by Paul. Not sure of the year, feel free to send me a message and let me know what year it is if youd like lol. It does come with a couple of the original parts I think, maybe a pot or 2 and the switch but I cant remember. Trem arm is also included.
