Up for sale, is this very cool vintage (31 year old) MADE IN ENGLAND 1983 Marshall JCM 800 Lead Series 50 Watt Model 4104 2×12 combo guitar amp. (It has a factory stamped serial number ending in R which confirms the mfg date as 1983). It’s an expensive vintage amp that’s just way to heavy (and way to cool) to take a chance on it getting damaged in transit. The Arlington Guitar Show is October 15 and 16 so if you’re in town for that, we’re near Burleson TX 76028 which is about 35 to 45 minutes away from The Arlington Convention Center and DFW Airport. As you can see, the amp has been restored with a very cool white tolex and a vintage wheat or blonde colored grill cloth. This 2 x 12 vintage combo tube amp is your basic vintage Marshall 6 knob (with Master Volume) vertical input rock and roll machine and it will crank only like a true vintage Marshall 4104 will. These 4104 amps are legendary for their classic Marshall tone and they’re highly collectable. You just can’t imagine how loud the amp gets. Once you get to even three (or maybe four) on the volume knob, just hang on, and batten down the hatches, cause it’s taking off. The amp has Mesa Boogie / Mesa Engineering EL34 tubes with two 12 Celestion Vintage 30 speakers and they sound fantastic. You MUST pick it up in Burleson, Texas 76028.
