This is a great sounding (& looking) Chris Shiflett (of the FOO Fighters fame) style telecaster custom made guitar. Its modelled on his fave 72 style tele. This guitar features a high quality 3 piece solid contoured mahog (or ash) beautifully grained body with string through construction, its nice and heavy!! aftermarket correct style 70s neck with oversized headstock and 3 way switch on the body. The guitar acoustically even sounds great , it resonates and rings forever!! Its not been set up or re strung since I got it , but doesn’t really need new strings just yet. It plays well sounds excellent and stays in tune even with country bends and heavy playing. I would recommend a set up to the buyers preference (as always), as not all players like the same action , strings , nut height etc. Up past the 12th fret the neck may need some adjustment as a little buzzing , but all the single notes can still be played without flatting out , just needs a neck or bridge adjustment possibly to be perfect , an easy job but not needed , I just play it as it is , it sounds wonderful. Its ready to rock.. ! Is used but ready to go, one or two very minor paint chips on the body and one on the headstock top to be fussy but overall excellent with no fretwear either. The guitar plays and sounds great , it even has the oversized F 72 era headstock & correct fret bar markers to the neck. A great gigging guitar it sounds killer. Please view all of the pictures, this is a nice instrument on a modest budget can be tested out if desired with prior arrangement.
