Gibson SG Standard 2004 Ebony With Gig Bag. As per the title, but if you are looking for an unplayed great condition guitar you may as well move on now.. However if you are looking for a well gigged relic type with tons of mojo that just’rings’ read on! This one has had a really bad job done of installing Grovers. As you can see in the pictures, loads of gouges etc in the back of the headstock when they were put in, they do work fine though. No breaks in the neck / headstock as far as I and my guitar tech guy can tell. The whole guitar may have been refinished as it is a little’matt’ looking but it is probably the original paint. Dents, scratches and gouges throughout as you can see. It comes with a Gibson gig bag not the original hard case. Original strap buttons are also gone, strap lock buttons fitted. This one sounds awesome. It is really loud acoustically, always a good sign. Plays really nicely, minimum fret wear, loads of’mojo’, a nice change to see a black SG with white scratch plate rather than the commonplace red / black guard. All pickups and electrics work as they should. If you are interested please don’t start moaning that it is in worse condition than expected if you come and have a look. I have plenty more pictures just message me if you want them. It will be bubble wrapped and sent to you in a cardboard guitar box. A beat up guitar but at the end of the day it’s a near 20 year old SG Standard that sounds fantastic for the price of an SG Special. Any questions just get in touch. Cheers.
