THIS IS A NONRETURNABLE ITEM. Up for sale is a very……………. A mint 1960 Showman 12 prototype, serial #29 with the original covers, footswitch speaker cord, and hang tag and it’s from the Aspen Pittman collection. The amp is also displayed in one of David Hunters amp books. This amp was one of the very first Fender white amps, made on the first day of production. It’s very unique and has many prototype features, such as the original Jensen P12N before the JBLs were introduced with Dick Dales input. The cabs speaker jack utilizes a tele jack cup and. Plate instead of the typical later design. The heads has the early supports for a tapered thumb screw and since it’s a prototype, it does not have a tube chart. The amp also comes with the original covers with the long storage pockets on the side and the cab cover that has a piece of paneling made into the front of the cover by Victoria to protect the grill cloth and speaker during transportation. It’s ALL ORIGINAL including every tube and it’s in pristine / mint condition. Serviced and sounds incredible. It needs nothing but a new owner / collector. This is an amp for a major collector and was one of the. Amps in my collection, but unfortunately, it’s time to go. So, if you want one of the cleanest, rarest Fender amps in the world, here it is……………… The amp can be viewed at my store, Vintage Tone Music located in Painesville, Ohio. If you are serious.
