This vintage 1978 Fender Musicmaster came through the doors from the original owner, who kept this guitar in great condition. Originally introduced as a beginner instrument, the Musicmaster grew to become a coveted instrument that and known for attracting players looking for nostalgic appearances with professional appointments; even Rory Gallagher was known for combining a Musicmaster neck on the similarly appointed “Duo Sonic”. Built in 1978, this all-original guitar has a top-mounted bridge with 3 saddles that can easily adjust intonation and string height, and the Fender branded tuners, which function perfectly and hold a solid tune. The C shaped neck features a 24″ short scale with a 7.25″ radius and 22 frets and is extremely comfortable, enjoyable to play and feels like a truly classic instrument. Topped off with a classic Black finish, a 3-ply black pickguard, chrome hardware and a classic “F” stamped backplate.
