Up for sale is my 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium flametop. Appears to be Honey Burst. Top has a nice gloss to it with a slight chevron flame pattern which look killer. Guitar plays great with a fast-feeling 60s style neck (on the slimmer side) and low action. Frets show very little wear. I believe the pickups are 490r and 498t. They sound great, very articulate and lots of sustain with help from the solid non-weight relieved body. Weighs approx 10 1/4 lbs. Nut width measures 1 11/16. Cosmetically guitar is in great shape overall for being 20yrs old. Some light scuffs on top from normal play wear, a swirling patch of buckle rash on the back which can be seen in the pictures and some little nicks overall. Pickguard never installed so there are no screw holes. I changed out the switch tip to an aged amber 50s-style, the knobs to 50s top hat style and the truss rod cover out for a blank using all genuine Gibson parts. The original switch, speed knobs and Standard truss rod cover are included in the sale. The brown Made in Canada Gibson case with pink plush lining and shroud is in great shape, however the thread/leather on the handle is coming undone which is very common on these cases.
