Thank you for visiting this page. 1976 Greco Les Paul Custom EG480R. This rare guitar is designed with the Gibson Les Paul of the 70s in mind, and features a semi-hollow Greco original structure that creates a unique sound. It’s a guitar from almost 50 years ago, but it’s made in Japan. It has the thick sound quality that is unique to vintage guitars, and is in good condition. There are some scratches due to age, but the body is shiny on both the front and back, and considering its age, I think it is in pretty good condition. The neck is in good condition, with no breaks or cracks. There are no cracks or choking on the sound. The rear tone knob is hard, so it is set to full open (=10). Can be adjusted with pliers, etc. There is also a toggle switch plate. The fifth-generation Greco logo with a circle on the “r” is pearlescent, and the toggle switch is made of gold parts. The pegs are locking star pegs. The head is a Gibson head from that time. Vintage bolt-on neck (stamped “made in JAPAN”). The nut width is about 4.3-4.5cm by eye. Reproduces the pancake structure. Gibson Les Pauls produced in the early to mid-70s have a laminated (sandwich) structure with maple sandwiched between mahogany, commonly known as pancake body. Weight: Approximately 3.57kg.
