Hi , This is an original early first year 1987 Fender Stratocaster Strat Plus in Metalic Blue. It has a E4 serial number and these were usually made in 87 or 88. Sounds fantastic , Two point tremolo , Lace sensor pickups , 5 way switch , Maple neck with working truss rod , straight and only a little fret wear. This guitar has been played and has its share of dings and paint wear , mainly on the edges and the back. There is some crazing in the paint on the back and a small crack in the pickguard on the lower horn , but she rocks. Some of the best guitars get played and this is one of them. Comes fitted with a Wilkinson roller nut , this was standard for the Strat Plus. These early ones are sought after , original Sperzel Locking tuners , Lace Sensor pickups with a TBX tone control. Comes in a its original butterfly hard shell moulded case which is in good condition.
