This guitar has its fair share of scuffs, dings, and a bit of paint missing right under the bridge (which I believe is a result of age and the bridge putting pressure on the finish); however, it is FULLY FUNCTIONAL and plays like a dream. The pickups deliver all the crisp bite and beefy tones you would expect from an older Les Paul. I tried my best to display its most severe imperfections in the pictures. I just got the guitar back from the repair shop after having a setup/neck adjustment done with low action, as well as having the entire body cleaned, fret board oiled, and new 10 gauge strings. I like the natural wear on it because for one, I think there’s just something honest about the way it makes the guitar look and feel, and it makes it so that you can own a valuable vintage guitar without having to worry about keeping it in pristine condition. The guitar comes with its original case which also shows a good deal of wear but is fully intact (the previous owner peeled off the majority of the material on the back of the case; not sure why). Vintage Black Beauties are hard to come by, especially left handed ones, so this is your opportunity to own an iconic vintage classic. Another interesting feature on this guitar is the factory misprint on the truss rod cover that reads Loes Paul Custom. Just another detail that I think makes this thing all the more unique.
