Vintage 1972 Gibson Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar in Cherry Sunburst Finish with Ebony Fingerboard and Custom Gibson profile neck. This vintage electric guitar is in excellent condition for 44 years old! Made in the USA Serial number: 150171 Gibson serial number sequence denotes manufacture years of 1970, 1971 or 1972. The sound is classic, with good intonation and no buzz. Strings play great and rings out evenly. Cosmetically throughout the guitar there is some honest player wear. This guitar is in player’s condition with dings, scratches & minor chips to the finish The body has a few small dings and surface scratches with some buckle rash. The back of the body has an area of approximately 4×4 inches where a belt buckle wore through the finish. Guitar stays in tune. The neck plays well but has spot on the back of the neck where a spot of finish wore off the back of the neck at the 5th fret. The original fretless wonder frets appear in good condition with some wear; the fretboard edges are clean and chip-free. The headstock has little edge wear.. The pick-ups are new Brandon Wound Aged Humbuckers with replica patent sticker. Toggle switch, controls, electronics appear to be all original. The tuners are new Kluson Waffleback tuners aged to look as if they are 40+ years-old. Gibson Les Paul hard case. This is a used instrument that may need to be setup to meet your style of play.
