I have a 1960 Fender Stratocaster refin guitar that I’m letting go. Beautiful Sonic Blue finish. Now that the project is finished I’m going to let someone else have this precious gem. This was the first vintage guitar I’ve ever owned and it was an absolute pleasure to own and play. It looks amazing, feels amazing, and sounds amazing. Videos of the guitar. Me playing it in action! (solo at the end really shows off the rich tone). Body: Sonic blue refinish. Neck: Maple neck with a C profile, 1 5/8 wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25 radius, and dot inlays. Cosmetic Condition: This refin looks wonderful! There are some fine checking lines throughout the finish with some light dings, scratches and edge wear. The back has some scuffs and buckle rash, the neck is smooth and the headstock looks great with age and edge wear. Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board. Modifications/Repairs: Guitar has been refinished, the knobs and guard have been replaced and a pick holder has been added to the headstock. The solder has been touched up throughout and the guard and knobs have been replaced; the originals are in the case. Lots of wear on the case after so many decades of course. Stitching has come undone a bit on one side. Still looks awesome though and accomplishes its main job of protecting the guitar. So in the unlikely event something got damaged during transit and it arrives different than described, we’ll be able to take care of it.
